It is so wonderful to finally have our students - and our staff - back in school! Our teachers have worked hard to prepare for their students and to make sure they have exactly the educational experience they deserve. This was not the start to the year that any of us imagined, but it is underway now and we are so glad to be with your children. Change. You have likely seen my announcement about our change in Assistant Principal staffing. Thank you for your messages of support for Ms. Lorow as she begins her new assignment. I know that you will quickly get to know and love Ms. Davidheiser just as much as she supports you and your children. Who to go to with your Questions? As promised this week I am sharing with you who you can go to for specific questions you may have. Asst. Principal Davidheiser, our Head Teacher, and I (Principal May) share responsibilities and we want you to know who you can reach out to for the answers you need. You likely remember our Head Teacher, Ms. Tyshler, who joined us last year. She will begin this year on maternity leave and Christian Salyer (last year’s long-term music substitute teacher) will stay with us until her return in early December. Don’t worry if you can’t remember who to go to for something. We will help to direct you to the right person. As always, if you have a question about something in a particular classroom, please speak to the classroom teacher first. They are eager to work with you and we will direct you back to them if you have not already spoken to them.

School Supplies
FTME, in collaboration with teachers, has pre-ordered classroom supplies. Bulk ordering reduces costs and helps to ensure that every child has the same supplies. Parents are asked to pay $45 per student (or what you are able) and all standard classroom supplies will be supplied.
Families still must supply backpacks, and may be asked by teachers for personal items such as reusable water bottles.
Visit our School Supplies main page for basic information and to pay. Visit our FAQ page for further details.
